Advanced Insulated Glass Units for Better Insulation

INSULATED GLASS UNITS (IGU)

Insulated Glass Units or IGU work by trapping gas such as air or argon between two or more panes of glass, creating an insulated barrier. This barrier acts as a defense against unwanted elements such as heat loss, noise, and condensation.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

Lower Noise Penetration

  • Insulated glass windows significantly reduce noise, offering a quieter environment.
  • These kinds of window glass that include insulation can greatly diminish external sound.

Reduce Heat Penetration

  • IGU is suitable for those who desire a barrier to heat during the summer.
  • It creates a hurdle for heat from outside to enter.
  • Using insulated glass windows helps maintain cooler indoor temperatures.

Cut Down Electric Consumption

  • Aside from reducing heat penetration, the cold air from AC stays in the room.
  • This results in lower electricity costs by reducing the need for additional cooling.

How It Works

Double glazing works by trapping air or argon gas between two panes of glass creating an insulating barrier that reduces heat loss, noise and condensation. Insulated glass units work best with Low-Emissivity (Low-E) Glass because it blocks the sun’s heat out of your home.
